about

Dusting off long-forgotten ancient texts for their inspirational cues, Gate of Horn combines the mournful strains of traditional Middle Eastern and Central Asian scales with sludgy doom metal grooves. The result is a uniquely psychedelic trip through an alternate history where conjured Djinns wreak havoc across desolated landscapes, and the brutality of human nature is revealed in all its terrible glory. Composed of equal parts trance-inducing ethnic melodies and crushing metal riffs, Gate of Horn is sure to get your Dervish whirling.
